That’s why we should check the political integrity index instead of track aipac

Also it should be noted that those green/red graphics have questionable methodology. At one point they would count “aipac” money as any money flowing from people who had previously donated to aipac or who donated to other groups who donated to aipac. It’s very weird.

the last 5 or so years...I'm learning how much propaganda we're fed, daily, without our knowledge. it's actually insane.

the real issue here is that, in general, people shouldn't make decisions based on singular 1x1 instagram formatted images. but they do. so I personally like the trend of those images pointing out things like "this candidate holds positions that you can only hold if you're incredibly compromised or insane"

That explains some of the comments I heard from Republican candidates in the recent debates. Thank you for clarifying this for me.

Are there good data science methodologies for taking both campaign finance info and candidate voting/policy history to compare the money and behavior?

Curt :
we should know the stance of politicians as it relates to how they feel about citizens United and pac's in general. we should also remove all the justices who sided with citizens United and appoint new justices because we can't trust them to not do what's best for the ultra wealthy.

After you made your main point, the rest of the video I was waiting for you to bring up the counter example that loopholes do exist and can be exploited but was really disappointed you didn't do that. Not sure if that was bad faith, or maybe you forgot to include it, or simply weren't aware how much that would strengthen your argument. But loopholes most definitely exist and are actively exploited. It's not like there is some quantum force field between the Super PAC recipient and decisions about what happens to the money.
