@kidgitalnomads: After seeing this lake in videos, we knew we had to go see it for ourselves. If you’re staying near Grand Teton or Jackson, Wyoming, it’s just a couple of hours south. Or if you’re near Salt Lake City, it’s a couple of hours north. And…it’s kind of in the middle of nowhere, literally. Pack a lunch or plan to visit one of the very small towns close by to give them your business. You can park at the state park area for $14 or on the East side of North Beach, you can pay $20 for a day pass and drive your car on to the beach. We went on a random Tuesday in August and there were only a few families there. But we can see from Google Maps that it gets pretty packed on the weekends, so plan accordingly. You can walk forever into the water and it’s still shallow. But it’s 200+ feet deep in the middle. The water was surprisingly warm because of the shallow depth at the beach. The sand is soft and makes the most beautiful bumpy ripples. The day we went, there was almost zero wind until around 5 or 6 pm.
