@jamesmillerhockey: producing, but some of them aren’t even wracking up assists. Which players are you surprised to see on here? Who should we be worried about? It’s never fun going through a goal scoring drought. Some of these slow starts could definitely impact players and cause them to score much less than they did last season. Look at somebody like Filip Forsberg for example. He had 40 goals last season. It’s gonna be hard to repeat that due to this slow start. We are talking about the lack of goal scoring here, but that doesn’t mean that many of these players aren’t off to great starts. In fact, some of these players are even point per game players. Matthew Schaefer is awfully close to being that right now, he may score less than he had last season (23), but he sure could surpass his point total from last season (59). I probably included a few players in here that will leave some people with mixed emotions, somebody like J.J. Moser comes to mind. He’s only had two seasons with seven goals, which is his career high. My bad, I thought he has produced some better numbers in his career. While some of these players maybe don’t overly deserve to be on the list, I’m sure there are some names featured in here that will get people talking. Whether it’s about how they’ve been great, despite not scoring yet, or how some fans are truly frustrated with some of them for not being able to put the puck in the back of the net.
