If possible, I would follow through with the EMT and submitting a complaint to their supervisor. That kind of gaslighting can kill someone and the EMT needs to be held accountable if possible. I know this is wishful thinking but maybe at least a paper trail of mistreatment.

I’m so sorry this happened to you. I really wish I lived in your area. I would 100% plants and whatever. But as an EMT myself what that person did is not OK at all like that was out of his scope of practice in unprofessional. delaying care gaslighting. And failing to properly assist the situation I think you should really file a complaint if you already haven’t.

My mother-in-law kept falling down every couple of days…. Out of nowhere it seemed like…. She had never done this before….. We finally called an ambulance. The last time she fell down…. They said nothing was wrong with her…. My husband demanded they take her to the hospital….. She died three days later….. she had been sick and didn’t go to the doctor….. ended up with a lot of fluid on her lungs…… They had to give her a chest tube and put her in a medically induced coma…. when they tried to wake her up, she ended up having a brain bleed and became brain dead. If something is wrong and you feel it in your body go to the doctor the hospital….something!! as soon as you can. The reason she didn’t go sooner is because it was in the middle of the 2020 coronavirus crap and she didn’t wanna leave the house.

I was told by my doctor that my sudden high blood pressure was " old age". It took a year to finally get a CT scan. The " old age" was corrected by surgery.
