Have you ever considered snowboarding or skiing in KAZAKHSTAN 🇰🇿🏂🎿 It’s home to Shymbulak Mountain Resort, the largest ski resort in central asia and it’s a lot more affordable than going to Japan or Swiss Alps! As a beginner, my priority was to go for as many lessons as I can during the 3 days I was there so the quality of the different runs weren’t what I was looking out for! I went on 1-3 Jan 2026 and this is the total amount of how much I spent during the high season for rental, lessons, lockers, meals and ski passes! Under ~S$500 is so reasonable and the views were so stunning! The resort is also super modern with many gorgeous restaurants, fast dining and even a Paul bakery, my love. There are other attractions at the ski resort which is why it draws so many sightseeing tourists. The only cons is that means the cable car lines are long af when it’s time to descend :”) But tbh, just come when it’s not a public holiday and you should be all good! 10/10 would come back and attempt to see the glacier cave too! The entire resort is also CASHLESS!! Which is when my @YouTrip SG came in handy. Leave the cash at home, just bring the card or your Apple Pay. #YouTripCreators #sgtravel #kazahkstan #almaty #wintersports
