kaffir is a colonial term for the lime, and is considered a slur in some regions, i suggest calling it makrut lime since it’s the traditional thai name for it

there is a harder one, it's called Lapis Legit, basically a layered cake, but you literally have to bake one layer at a time before pouring another layer. There is even a variant using prunes

“K_____” as in “k______ lime leaf” is a powerful, horrid racist slur (with colonizer roots for extra repugnancy) Makrut lime is a good substitute. The cake looks like a fun challenge to get right, thanks for sharing.
