@science.snitch: what's inside Stevia? Almost all the stevia on store shelves isn’t just stevia. It’s about 1% stevia. The other 99% is erythritol or dextrose. Stevia is 300x sweeter than sugar. To sweeten a cup of tea you need a few tiny crystals. That’s why manufacturers add filler (erythritol, dextrose etc.) so you can scoop it with a spoon like sugar. Dextrose is basically sugar. You buy “zero calorie” and get sugar. In 2023 Cleveland Clinic linked erythritol to blood clots. And that’s just one of the tricks they use. I put everything science currently knows about ALL popular sweeteners into one guide. Which ones are harmful, which are fine, and how they actually affect your health. 👉🏼 Link to the guide in bio
