philips was made to purposefully strip because i think it was ww1, they needed a screw that broke at the right torque to speed up porduction. the japanese industrial standard (jis) screw has the mechanical advantage of phillips but is made to not strip there is also a british version but i cant think of it. the bit in the video is jis not phillips
