ppl acting dense in the comments AP and regular classes have different levels of rigor which is why ap classes are considered college level classes, students in regular classes aren’t less intelligent or getting a less quality education on the other hand their classroom education is tailored to their learning level and style, i won’t expect my regular classes to write ECRs and DBQs and take progress quizzes every week, we can try to get there but if they aren’t used to that it will only hinder their learning and confidence

Omg yes!!! My kids told me they had several ap classes ans mine was by far the hardest. I said omg thanks so mucn! 😂

Opposite for me. My on level kids have a routine and I go bell to bell with timed activities…I also gave them some of the questions my IB kids get, and they impressed me by tackling the challenge and doing pretty well!
