@mom.theres.been.a: In January 2023, 29-year-old Corey “Adam” Soles, was brutally murder*d in what investigators described as a shocking family-involved k*lling in Horry County, South Carolina. According to prosecutors, Soles had been staying at the Watts family property when Samantha Watts allegedly suspected him of stealing dr*gs from her dr*g operation. Days before the murd*r, Samantha’s teenage son, Payton Watts, had as*aulted Soles and broken his leg, leaving him confined to a wheelchair. On January 8 and 9, prosecutors said Soles was held and repeatedly beat*n with a blunt object, including blows to the head. Despite his serious injuries, no one called for medical help. Investigators later recovered surveillance footage from a security system that had been reset and hidden beneath a mattress. The footage helped reveal the horrific att*ck and the involvement of multiple family members. Soles was reported missing on January 10, and his body was discovered days later submerged in a swamp near Galivants Ferry, wrapped in a tarp and tied to concrete blocks. In July 2025, Samantha pleaded guilty to murd*r and received 45 years in prison. Her son Payton pleaded guilty to murd*r and received 35 years. Her daughter Amber received a suspended sentence and probation for being an accessory after the fact, while her son Jonathan was sentenced to time served for as*ault and battery. She definitely drove around with a body in her trunk. #truecrime #criminalcase #investigation #mystery #crime
