My son is 23 an a Cpt. For American and he gets asked all the time if he’s the flight attendant. He flys better than my 55 year old hubby who is also a pilot. You are in good good hands shug

Most regional airline pilots are pretty young. They all start at regionals. I am a flight attendant for a regional and trust me they are young, but have a bazillion flying hours and are definitely competent!

You have to have 1500 hours flying before you can even get your ATP certificate which is required for airlines transferring more than 30 passengers! My husband was at 1800 hours before he went to his regional and 3500 before he got hired mainline. Thats A LOT of flying

Sometimes I’d rather younger pilot than I do in super old pilot or like a super advanced pilot because sometimes they’re too cocky and they’re like oh I can do it even though it’s a dangerous situation but like the younger ones are more cautious of things so it’s like the good in the bad

Look up what a Cessna 150 is, I landed one with 32kt winds (37mph) and another time with a 24kt crosswind, that plane is fine in 23mph

That’s nothing. I live in Alaska, I was on a twin engine piston plane the other day with hurricane force winds, we landed sideways on a dirt and sand runway, the pilot was their age and landed that plane smoother than a knife cutting through butter. We did have to push the plane out of the sand after it got its wheels stuck in it but that’s not the point.
