@nbcsouthflorida: White House press secretary Katie Zacharia has left her position just five days after taking the job, according to two administration officials. Her brief stint unfolded amid internal tensions within the West Wing and growing voter frustration with Republicans, with the midterm elections only weeks away. Her departure on Friday came just minutes after President Donald Trump publicly suggested she consider stepping down. While expressing personal support for Zacharia, Trump questioned whether she was the right fit for the position. #whitehouse #press #trump #position
