I worked as a manager in a care home they can’t do anything! If they want too they need your consent! She is in her room which is her ‘home’!

I’ve walked in care for over 16 years and I have never ever heard of anything so ridiculous! The care home I worked for had there own social media page to show dementia dosnet stop people from living there life and been themselves!! I truly feel for you I hope you get this sorted honey! 🩷🩷🩷🌸

I’m going to miss her! She reminds me so much of my grandma, who passed, holding my hand, three years ago. I’ve always loved the videos and how sweet you are with her. You take such good care of her.

How awful You documenting ur nans dementia journey has helped me understand dementia more my grandma has stage 5 so till aware but is slowly deteriorating and watching ur videos has helped me prepare and understand dementia more and what’s yet to come hoping something gets sorted x

I have worked in the care industry for a lot of years and with people who have lost capacity as a therapist. I think it is one of those where unfortunately there is a lot of very vulnerable people in that category and with AI especially, it is much safe to keep those people off social media. I think its easy to be naive to what people can do with that content unfortunately :(

I’ve seen plenty care and nursing homes post on here with their residents and it’s been lovely going along this journey with you and your Nan she’s always pit a smile on my face and she is also so funny with the things she comes out with, don’t let this upset you Jess and I feel it’s your grandma and you have more right to do videos with her 🤷🏼♀️I agree with AI etc but that means none of us should ever be online anymore 😏
