Cus they will continue that road along with more housing development in the future smh. Brentwood has a lot of dead ends in the ag areas cus they want to build homes later on.

before the bypass was in that was Concord Avenue and it went all the way to Balfour. The stop sign was necessary because Concord Avenue got a lot of traffic with those going to Vasco and there is an elementary school nearby.

im genuinely confused too why you take that backroad rather than taking hwy4 like everybody else💀 you can see the roadway that got cut off on the other side, they just kept the stop sign there to slow traffic down when making that sharp turn
