as someone who was born & raised about 90 min from where he's at, I'm not surprised.. my family are not Rancher's, but 90% of the community is, and one thing you quickly realize is how generational it is... the majority of those profitable Ranches are from decade after decade of DAILY work & care by the families.. they didn't just buy some land on a whim & start profiting immediately.. Ranchers in rural Wyoming are some of the most dedicated & hard working people. 🤷

Farmers will be the first to tell you there’s no big money in farming. It’s very expensive to run a successful ranch and there’s no way he selling enough yak or camel meat to make much. I don’t know a single person seeking yak meat or talking about their fav yak recipes.
