I realized that my ex and I worked better..apart. When we decided to try the “domestic” route, it destroyed us. I hope that at some point we can heal and have something similar again. We had hobbies, routines, and lives outside of each other.

yes! i had no hobbies whilst married now going through divorce in a ld relationship and I keep busy with hobbies, hes a climber so thats a new hobby of mine !

i’ve found myself wanting to do more things like paint with watercolor, bedazzle and make things with clay. I would have never felt like i had the “time” if he was here with me. Yes long distance is hard but it is challenging me to do new things
