@crmnallyobsessed: TEARS OF JOY? A South Carolina judge has handed Alex Murdaugh's defense a major potential victory ahead of his retrial for the murders of his wife and son. Judge Debra McCaslin ruled Friday that defense experts can independently test unidentified male DNA found beneath Maggie Murdaugh's fingernails and on her cellphone. The DNA does not match anyone in the Murdaugh family, and investigators have never identified its source. Murdaugh could be seen tearing up in reaction to the ruling. Prosecutors opposed additional testing, warning that it could consume the remaining DNA samples and leave nothing for future analysis. Murdaugh's attorneys hope the testing could uncover evidence pointing to someone else involved in the June 2021 killings. The judge also rejected a defense request for ballistics evidence from unrelated shootings, calling it a "fishing expedition." Frustrated by increasingly bitter disputes between attorneys, McCaslin warned she would not allow the retrial to become a "circus." Murdaugh's 2023 murder convictions were overturned earlier this year because of improper jury influence by the former clerk of court. His retrial remains scheduled for April 5, 2027. #TrueCrime #MurdaughMurders #SouthCarolina #AlexMurdaugh

Such a BS -violation of evidence act??? So it is not a violation of the defendant’s rights for a fair trial by excluding evidence and put for life to prison. I don’t think it’s a fair trial, and this is why many innocent ppl are in prison. I don’t say he is innocent…
