@sapphic_vibes_: I’ve seen two different takes on this scene, and I honestly think there’s more to Pheem’s reaction than simply being a rich girl who isn’t used to hearing no. I’m not saying her money and privilege don’t play a role in how she handles situations, because I think they do. But I also think we’re seeing a woman who is deeply insecure and terrified of losing someone she loves. And when you consider Pheem’s insecurity about Pan being attracted to men, especially what we know from the novel, it adds another layer to her reaction. The possibility of losing Pan to a man isn’t just jealousy. I think it brings out that fear of not being enough. What stood out to me most was Pheem sitting outside that door. The way she leaned against it, closed her eyes, and just looked completely defeated. That didn’t look like someone simply throwing a tantrum because she couldn’t get her way. To me, it looked like someone who was finally realizing that she couldn’t control the outcome. But I also want to make something clear. Understanding Pheem doesn’t mean excusing her actions. Pan has been hurt too, and she shouldn’t have to constantly reassure Pheem at the expense of her own feelings. I can defend Pheem’s character and recognize where her insecurities come from while still acknowledging that she has hurt Pan. I think that’s what makes these two characters so complicated. Neither one is perfect, and both have their own pain to work through. Pheem needs to learn that loving someone doesn’t mean having control over whether they stay. And Pan deserves to be loved without having to lose herself in the process. 🤍 #PlsLoveรักได้ไหมEP6 #LenaMiu #LalinaLena #MiuNatsha #PIsLove
