My story was I was visiting a friend in Tampa (I’m from Vegas) and was in the Tampa airport at a restaurant bar. Next to me was a Scottish man and his English work friend. He kept asking the bartender a question but the bartender couldn’t understand him. I did. So I answered his question. We chatted and discovered we were not the same flight to Atlanta which was a layover for both of us. Him to Manchester me back to Vegas. Well, our flight kept getting delayed so we bar hopped at the airport. We had such fun and conversation that we missed our flight. Rebooked til the morning and hung out some more. Kept in contact and a month later I visited him in Scotland. And the rest is history. 😁
