so your main problem with the lazy method is that it forces you to rotate the target spacecraft, and your alternative... also forces you to rotate the target spacecraft? Genuinely just the same thing but more difficult.

I can't believe people have problem docking. I can't even get the ships close to each other and but docking is very easy

Well Matt never said it was a universal technique, and the only time he’s used the Lazy Lowne method (from what I’ve seen in his videos) has been with small-medium sized ships where the RCS cost isn’t very high.

you still used SAS for normal/anti normal? these two methods arent that diffrent..? i made w giant space station with the lazy method and docking to it is easy without rcs. just remeber to control from the port you want to dock to and select both as targets and turn off rcs for station.

Ik this ain’t for everyone but this is why I love mechjebs docking function, I’m straight ass at docking, so having it auto dock is really nice, plus it can get perfect rotation which is great for K&K base parts if your assembling the base in orbit

The lowne lazy method works great when you’re first getting the hang of docking, but the normal/antinormal method (plus using the navball and prograde markers like a target reticule) is way better for dealing with complex structures.
