There’s nothing like a warm, creamy bowl of homemade comfort food on a chilly fall evening! This hamburger stroganoff is an old-fashioned family favorite made with browned ground beef, a rich, savory mushroom sauce, and tender egg noodles. Simple ingredients, hearty flavor, and a whole lot of homemade goodness! I browned my hamburger with salt and pepper to taste, then stirred in my homemade cream of mushroom soup to make a delicious, creamy sauce (se my video)- developed with 1/3 of a cup of sour cream. Served it over egg noodles and topped it off with fresh thyme for the perfect finishing touch! 🌿 And if you’re short on time, don’t worry! You can absolutely make this an easy weeknight meal using two canned cream of mushroom soup and sour cream instead. You still get that classic, creamy stroganoff flavor without all the extra prep.
