Anybody complaining about lore probably never even seen the movies. Asking for any consistent continuity or “accurate” continuity is in direct opposition of b movie slashers. It’s just random vibes.

Well if you read the novels Jason was under the lake in a healing coma which he then woken up from and seen his mom murdered and Jason was never a science experiment he became the way he is because of his fathers blood

I don't like the idea that Jason is just an experiment for the government. I like that he's an anomaly, curse of the camp. It's like when the star wars tried to explain the force with midichlorians, some things just don't need to deeply explain

He was 100% dead at the end of Part 4 and during Part 5. It was in Part 6 that Tommy’s stupid self accidentally turned him into a zombie who can’t die lol 😂

I liked not knowing exactly what the story was. Was he alive, was he dead, is he a demon ect. Making Jason a science experiment is just lame.

if you go back and rewatch Friday the 13th, you can see the same shirt sleeve of the shirt Jason wears in part 2 especially the scene with Kevin Bacon when he gets the arrow through the neck while being held down by a hand, that wasn't a woman's hand

I like Jason the character, but yeah I’m not big on most of the movies for Jason . The 2000’s remake and Freddy vs Jason were my picks. Outside that I’m not itching to rewatch the others like I’d want to do with Halloween for example

For me I personally I dont think Jason should have a reason to always come back i prefer more of a fear of the unknown type of scenario with Jason where the fact that you don’t know what he is should be the scariest part of it i can see where there going with this new origin but its not really for me
