@revjthomas: Core memory 🔐💜🖤 Joshua and I went to see the Ravens play at the Benz! Truthfully, there was a moment when I wasn’t sure we’d be able to make it happen. But God worked it out. And I’m so glad He did. Me and my oldest son. Just the two of us. The game was amazing. But the time we spent together was worth so much more. As your children get older, you start to realize just how fast time moves. The days are long, but the years are flying by. And every moment matters. What surprised me most was something I didn’t expect. The number of elders at the stadium who stopped to applaud me for being there with my son. Just a father spending time with his boy. That stayed with me. Because Black fathers ARE present. We ARE involved. We ARE making memories, showing up, and loving our children out loud. And as Joshua gets older, I pray he’ll hold on to these moments. Not just the touchdowns or the excitement of the game, but the time we spent together. Because I know I will.
