That was a much-needed post! 🧪 As a former harm reduction worker, I have to add a word about the G-hole, definitely the scariest part of GHB/GBL. It's the ultimate party pooper: the line between feeling great and passing out completely can come down to a fraction of a milliliter of G. Always measure your doses with a syringe or precise tool and stick to the one-hour-minimum rule between doses. Also, be careful with mixing. Some meds like topiramate (Topamax) can boost its effects, and combining it with other downers like opioids (heroin, fentanyl) or benzos can shut down your breathing. If a friend "G's out," they're not sleeping: their brain is heavily suppressed. Put them in the recovery position, stay with them, and call 911 if you can't wake them or their breathing seems off. Stay safe out there! 👨🔬

afaik there isn't any research pointing to ghb actually being used predatorly. benzos are much more common culprit as much easier to obtain and to spike someone's drink (0.05g vs 1g of ghb)

Just don‘t. I have seen GBL-Addicts in rehab. They are on eye-level with Alcohol and Heroin, if not worse. The physical withdrawal of GBL symptoms alone last way longer than alcohol/heroin.
