Is this BRAND NEW Italian Restaurant Serving Up the Shore’s Best Seafood? 🇮🇹 Is It Legit? with Jersey John ☑️ Today guys, we’re checking out Raia’s. Is It Legit is a simple concept. No scores. No ratings. Just is a spot legit and worth your time and money to check out. I’m not paid by the establishment, I pay for my food and tip the wait staff. Here’s my breakdown: The Atmosphere: I don’t know if I’ve seen a more perfect blend of upscale, luxury mixed with warmness and at home feel than Raia’s. It is the quintessential night out spot. For Christ’s sake, there’s boobies on the walls. (Sorry mom). There’s several different dining areas, highlighted by the main dining area and bar, a really cool wine cellar, an open window to the kitchen and insane bathrooms. In the middle of Long Branch, they truly do transport you to some of the nicest restaurants on the Italian Coast you’d see in places like Positano or Capri. I know, I’ve been there. Legit ☑️ The Service: This is where good restaurants become great. The service at Raia’s is top notch, in my experience. The owners of Raia’s are the same as Little Buca in Little Silver, and one thing they get 100% right at both spots is leading with providing a great experience. There’s great touches of experience with if you buy a bottle of wine, you sign it and put it on their massive display wall. That’s Legit ☑️ The Food: Wow. I had really high expectations coming in. And the food still delivered above that. It’s not just great Italian. It’s not just great seafood. It’s not just great cuts of meat. It’s the fact that all of the food is that good. From the mini arancini that come out on arrival to the apps to the pasta to the pork chop to the seafood and to that insane warm espresso chocolate dessert, the food is Legit ☑️ Recommendation: If you’re a seafood fan, you cannot go wrong with hamachi crudo (yellowtail) appetizer and then the miso glazed Chilean Sea Bass. If you’re a meat fan, definitely try the stuffed long hots and then I’d go with the pork chop (wasn’t in the video but it’s similar to the dish they make at Little Buca and is hands down one of my favorite chops in Monmouth County). No matter which direction, end your evening with the warm espresso chocolate cake and pistachio gelato. That may take the prize for best dessert in 2026.
