@petitjusgames: what would you do?? DEADLINE: Afterlife Processing is a dark, atmospheric soul-judging sim where you run the press at Station 9 of the afterlife’s Dispositions Section. The dead wait in line, and it’s your job to read each soul, three fragments of their life printed in amber (confessions, alibis, what the neighbors saw), judge it against the rulebook, set the verdict, and pull the lever. The seal comes down and the soul becomes paperwork: Disposition A or B, gold or red, two exits, no appeals. The rulebook never stops growing, rules shift and get amended, and when no directive quite fits, you decide. Every processed soul prints a slip, and every slip is money you spend in the catalog on better gear, a faster line, press upgrades, and machines that’ll do the parts of the job you like least. Management recommends it. There’s no HUD, no menus, no minimap, just a room of paper, machines, and ink, and a handcrafted soundscape for every stamp and gear. 🎮 Game: DEADLINE: Afterlife Processing 🎯 Genre: Dark Soul-Judging Sim / Incremental 👥 Players: Single-player 💻 Platform: PC (Steam) 🛠️ Developer: SOUNDIL 📅 Release Date: Coming soon #indiegame #newgame #steamgames #gameplay

this comment section is the perfect example of why humans aren’t allowed to judge a soul.

idc dawg literally everyone is going to heaven regardless of what they did because infinite punishment for a finite crime is always immoral.

Depends on the drug. If he reported the neighbor for selling weed, he needs to go to hell. If the neighbor was selling something serious, like coke, the reporter should go to heaven. I understand him wanting to save his daughter from cancer and plenty of people would do risky things to save their loved ones, but he also ruined countless families by causing/enabling their drug addictions. I’m wondering if the reporter paid for the chemo after the father was jailed, and if they did, why not offer to help so her father wouldn’t have to resort to selling drugs.

Send everyone to heaven because bo finite crime justified an infinite punishment. I stand on that wholeheartedly✌️

I feel like since hell is absolute eternal suffering it should probably be reserved for those who have done truly heinous and inhumane actions. Even if what this person did is wrong is it worthy of an eternity of suffering?

Heaven. He adopted her after which is a plus also if the neighbor was caught selling drugs and the dude got exposed for knowing about it/being involved he possibly could've got in trouble.
