becoming a photographer shows you how people really feel about you. . There are the ones who always call you wanting you to come and bring your camera to the event thinking they’re gonna get free pictures and the ones that always ask you do you still take pictures instead of saying are you still a photographer? They ZERO respect!

I had my mother die, sister passed and diagnose with an illness. but when I shoot a list celebrities or TV shows movies etc I get support. what I don't get is a lot of Hey.I hope you're doing okay or people just checking on me. ive been through hell and all people care about is other people success that I film or what they trying to get out of me for free or a deal

I made it clear early on to friends and family that I don’t do discounts, my prices are my prices, I will not bring my camera to family events if I’m not being paid to work, if they want photography, they will book like every client.

This is so true and once you're a photographer, your friends before then expect a "friend discount" and when I put those boundaries up, suddenly I'm the bad guy who wants money. Like....yes, I do. This is job, my lively hood and the way I pay my bills.

seriously man, about 95% of my conversations are about cameras, business and being asked to shoot something. Very very few people actually check on me to see if I’m doing alright or need anything. Im the one making the effort to reach out
