@si.thu.mg.lay: 🌺 Today, while waiting for our flight from Nepal back to the United States, the air felt a little cold. Seeing that Aloka might need some extra warmth, Venerable Bhikkhu Paññākāra Tuệ Nhân gently placed a blanket over him so he could rest comfortably. It was a simple moment, yet one filled with tenderness. Throughout every journey, Aloka has walked beside the venerable monks, offering companionship, joy, and countless smiles. In return, he is always surrounded by their attentive care and affection. During this journey of compassion in Nepal, Aloka was more than a beloved companion. His presence offered a gentle reminder that loving-kindness has no boundaries. It is not limited by nationality, language, circumstance, or species. Every living being deserves safety, care, and compassion. Loving-kindness is often revealed through these small actions. It is noticing when another living being may be cold, tired, afraid, or in need, and responding gently without waiting to be asked. Care does not always require grand gestures. Sometimes, it is simply a warm blanket, a reassuring presence, and a heart attentive enough to notice. This peaceful moment reminds us that compassion embraces every life. May we continue to notice those around us, human and animal alike, and offer warmth, protection, and kindness whenever we can. May you and all beings be well, happy and at peace. 🙏 #WalkforPeace #BuddhistMonks #AlokathePeaceDog
