@gabbettfamilytravels: Skip the crowds at Reflection Lake and hike to Bench Lake instead 🏔️ Mount Rainier reflections without the roadside crowds or the parking fight. Reflection Lake is gorgeous, but it’s an easy roadside stop that gets packed fast, and parking is hard. The Bench and Snow Lake Trail gets you a reflection of Rainier that rivals it. On the same day, we actually saw a better reflection at Bench Lake than at Reflection Lake. 📍 Trailhead: Bench and Snow Lake Trail, Mount Rainier National Park (Longmire/Stevens Canyon Road area) 🥾 Bench Lake: 1.5 miles round trip. Easy and great for all ages, kids included. ⚡ Extra energy? Keep going to Snow Lake (2.5 miles total). There’s no Rainier reflection there, but it’s beautiful and worth the hike! 🅿️ The trailhead lot is small, so go early. 📌Save this for your Mount Rainier trip! ➡️ Be sure to follow us @gabbettfamilytravels for more national park travel info & tips + trails worth the trip with kids!
