Absolutely nothing against you, but the reason most people don’t do this is majority of the population doesn’t have extra money. If we had a couple extra thousand dollars laying around, it would be worth it, but most people don’t have that

Also look into local banks or credit unions that offer high yield checking accounts. My bank added that as an option and it’s earning 3.6%. Totally fluid money.

You could’ve achieve much more by just putting into SP500 the past five years. High yield savings account are an absolute joke.

Do a money market like spaxx or treasury bill etf instead. It’s easier to access with slightly higher interest rates than hyse, and rates change more frequently to market conditions
