@adaywithkaddy: Someone called my nursing job “boring”… and honestly, I choose boring every single day. 😂 I worked bedside for 8 years. I did compressions. I worked dangerously short-staffed. I cared for aggressive and confused patients. I had incredible coworkers and horrible charge nurses. I carried 1:6 assignments on high-acuity floors. Been there. Done that. Earned the burnout. Now I get paid six figures to work from home in my pajamas, spend my day with my baby, receive real raises and bonuses, enjoy 32 days of PTO, and never work weekends or holidays. So yes—my job may look “boring,” but boring gave me my life back. That’s exactly why I love helping bedside nurses transition into remote nursing. It has been the greatest career upgrade of my life, and I want more nurses to know that bedside is not their only option.
