My step dad was like this. We always had to give him our flight number so he could track us. Even after he got ALS he used his eye gaze for his iPad. He died in January and I’m lost not having anyone ask me for my flight number😂😭

I do this. One time, an airline said my son had arrived in CA about an hour after he left VA. Considering the Concorde hasn’t been in service for quite some time, I was pretty sure he had not, in fact, flown across the country in an hour and lost my absolute shit on the airline. 🤣

My dad was a retired pilot and my sister is currently a Captain for United. This has been my life whether it’s flying, driving, walking. Full weather and flight details for everything! We could identify planes/logos/regular flights before kindergarten. 😂
