My rules for being a nanny are the same. Soo much that the boys are the ring bearers in My sister's wedding. I couldn't imagine being with kids for months/ years and them not being apart of my family. My nanny kids also call my parents Nana and Pa and my Aunts their Aunts. We wouldn't have it any other Way! My parents also buy them their own snacks for their house, when we visit.

Mine was the same, and we still talk often and we see them everytime we go back home, I’m married and have my own kiddos now and I think of them everyday… enjoy every minute of it 💖

I’ve been blessed to have 4 families like this! And that’s the only way I know and will continue to do! My nanny Babies are my babies. Two of them of actually had us (I have 4 kids) in their family photo sessions.

Sounds “Normal” to me and while I realize it’s not normal for all situations I normally don’t go for jobs where I don’t expect to be able to have this type of relationship.

My situation is very similar. My nanny mom literally has told me to send pics of the babies to my grandma bc she knows my grandma loves babies. Its a dream family to work for

Honestly, if I were to have a nanny (I cant afford that, and also have no kids) i feel like this is how I would be... like I am inviting the nanny into my home, to watch my baby, imma treat them like family. Because they may not be MY family, but (assuming the nanny and child have a good relationship) I would like to think that the nanny would be like a family member to my child
