@johndoe6511: Helter Skelter is a feverish, neon-drenched psychological horror film about the toxic obsession with physical perfection and the fleeting nature of fame. It follows Ririko, a massively successful supermodel who is revered across Japan as the ultimate standard of beauty, but whose flawless face and body are entirely artificial—the result of illegal, high-risk full-body plastic surgery. As the story progresses, the dark reality of her situation begins to catch up with her; her synthetic skin starts to blacken and decay, requiring constant, painful maintenance that pushes her into deep psychological horror. Driven by intense paranoia, she spirals out of control as she watches her fame slip away to a younger, more naturally beautiful rival named Kozue. Ririko descends into madness, manipulating and abusing those around her, while a prosecutor inches closer to exposing the corrupt clinic that created her. Ultimately, the film serves as a visually striking, grotesque critique of the entertainment industry and society's superficial demands, showing how a person can be completely consumed and discarded by the very culture that idolized them. #lilicohelterskelter #helterskelter2012 #lilicohelterskelteredit #targetaudience
