Single moms are struggling, we are struggling!!!! With so much torment and dads that don’t support, we get frustrated and angry with our kids for little things. Everybody saying if you ever need anything, call me but reality is when you call for help, everyone is busy with work, or their family. And when the suicidal thoughts come in, you say to yourself, what will become of my child, best we both go so he/she doesn’t have to struggle growing up.

I was a single mum with 2 little girls at the age of 27. I had no job, no savings, no support system, had depression then later had breast cancer. I educated myself for a couple of years, got a job that worked around my girls school & dedicated my life to raising my kids. I never got into another relationship or got remarried. But I didn’t once complain, why me because I didn’t have time to think I had to get on with it. My kids were my everything. So hearing stories like this breaks my heart. We are parents, the kings & Queens for our children. We should protect & shield them from any pain or hurt, not cause that to them no matter what the situation.
