It’s probably just because this is the first batch of EX-Eidolons, and they also have a Novaflare to improve their base kits. I wouldn’t be surprised if EX-Eidolons eventually became a standard way to give all characters extra upgrades Although, if EX-Eidolons become the norm, I hope they don’t start selling us problems with characters’ base kits that need to be fixed through them. It’s already bad enough with characters who need E2.
