For anyone renting! PLEASE make your pet dog an ESA (emotional support animal) it’s a one time fee $100 all u need is the letter mailed to leasing office or landlord. U can do it all online. Just explain in detail why u need to make your dog a support animal. It is illegal to charge a pet fee for support animals they are free to go anywhere with you. You will also receive their ID in the mail. You of course show that anywhere you go as proof they are a ESA.

Based on the owners story, which is posted here in the comments, you should try to raise money in order for her to get her dogs back and have her be able to afford daily walks from dog walkers and other needs while she recovers from her surgery. I think accounts like these shouldn’t just amplify a shelter, but should exhaust every option, especially if the pet owner wanted to keep their babies.

People need to start researching this breed before making such a commitment. They are high energy escape artists and most people get them for their looks. I couldn’t imagine ever giving my girl up. Unfortunately they are a breed that ends up in shelters far too often. I hope they find their fur ever home.

these are our bonded pair of huskies. we have 3 in total. we used to have 4 but 1 recently passed because of a chronic illness that was affecting her in the worst way possible with no cure. these 2 are jerks but we love them to bits
