Unfortunately I will never send my children to a school without an armed SRO on campus at all times. Our school has one and he’s present during drop off and pick up and he sits in the front of the school when you walk in with a room full of security cameras 😞

It’s so frustrating that school shootings let alone mass public shootings continue to occur and very little is done about it. I think our country had a chance to make real change after Columbine occurred, and it continues to prioritize the right to bear arms over the safety and security of children. No parent or child should have to worry if a violent incident is going to happen at school, daycare or even just when out shopping. 🥺😢

It’s so heartbreaking! This is why so many people are pulling their kids out of public school to homeschool now cuz we fear for our kids safety. I said my kids to a private school and luckily we do have a armed guard on campus but its ridiculous that I have to pay $$$ to send my kids to this school when that should just be a requirement

Ive followed since Tatum was a toddler. I promise Abby, homeschooling my child has been so relieving, you absolutely could do it. Its not as hard as it sounds and you would not being doing him injustice. Im not at all saying youre a bad parent if you dont do it, but it was worth it for my sanity to not have to worry about if my child won’t make it home from school one day

As someone who lives in the UK this is so insane to me i’m so sorry. Although since the Southport incident and threats towards UK schools I’ve been so worried everyday.
