I have scoliosis and it makes walking distance painful. I just dont look disabled but my Dr signed for my plaque. pretty sure she knows who needs it not a random stranger

I don’t look disabled. I have Osteoarthritis, EDS, Fibromyalgia, part of one of my discs in my Lumbar part of my spine missing, profoundly deaf, battle chronic hereditary migraines, along with being a diabetic. Some days I feel great and don’t need any of my mobility aids (few and far between anymore) and there are days like today (more often than not) where I need braces, mobility aids and have my service dog with me all the time. This was the other night when my blood sugars dropped rapidly and I was fighting to get them up. She wouldn’t leave me alone until my blood sugars were above 120.

Half my neck is metal. The VA has deemed me disabled. I do have a jacked up jeep. I had one lady taking a picture of said jeep in a handicap spot. I got out of my car and walked over to her and said can I help you? Oh I was just loving the jeep. I said I am disabled and she said oh oh oh I didn’t even think about that. I heard her talking to her friend about the asshole in the disabled parking spot with a jack up jeep. You can’t tell that my neck is metal unless I lean my head back to show the scars. People need to mind their own business.

I dont look disabled and have a handicap placard. I always get so nervous using it. i have Ehlers-Danlos which messes up your whoooole body

I'm a 90% disabled veteran who is eligible for a handicap placard at 39 years old and you bet you butt I'mma get that sucker too! You can't tell it 95% of the time but that 5% is an absolute B!TCH between my back and my knee 😭
