I'd tell your friend to just walk away. Respect grandma's boundaries and ✨️dip✨️don't push it because why should your friend *want* someone in their life, family or not, who'd refuse to see them based on their appearance? Icky, that kinda person just isn't worth the energy to meddle with, even spitefully. Theres better things to be petty over. No doubt grandma is missing out on time with a dope grandchild though, but thats her (i guess hopefully short-lived??) loss🤷♀️

This situation fkn sucks. But honestly? I’d just cover them up. Granny is probably old and judgemental asf, but she’s just a product of her upbringing and surroundings, it’s almost not even her fault (it is, but you know what I mean). You don’t have a lot of time with your grandparents, I’d just tough it out and cover them up for her, let her know that you’re covering them up for her and hope to move past it. She’ll probably even slowly get over it over time.
