As a Canadian this ticks me off I’m sure it ticks you off more. But this could be avoided so easily. Everyone thinks that as a Canadian we pay all these taxes and we end up paying more for our healthcare but that’s not reality. Yes some of our tax goes towards healthcare but it’s minuscule when compared to deductibles and monthly installments etc. we also have better health outcomes and live longer. So if someone ever tells you guys that our system is broken they’re wrong it’s not perfect but it’s not broken
