So the “post route” was actually a wide open out route behind Sutton you can see here lol

Sutton wasn’t even able to take a step before getting laid out. What are you on about

Andrew :
The guy behind Sutton is running a corner route to the sideline and wide open. His route is not capped and there’s no defender in front of him.

Theo I love your content man but to say hospital balls “barely exist” is a ludicrous statement, and that ball is pretty much the perfect definition of a hospital ball. Bo Nix is leading Courtland Sutton right into a defender to crush him. The perfect ball here is low to the ground, forcing the receiver to possession catch the ball to avoid a big hit.

cmon that is obvious hospital ball right infront of one of the hard hitting dbs in the league that is a 5/10 play by bo nix max

Theo defending Bo Nix against the narrative he played like dogshit and instead played just regular Bo bad is a nice warping of how crazy the discourse around him has gotten. Maybe one day I'll look back on this QB era with whimsy while Dak on retirements door takes us to the wildcard

the only thing stopping this from being considered a “hospital ball” is the fact witherspoon wrapped up and didn’t decide to take his head off, terrible take😭

I still think its the play callin, Sean played way too safe 2nd half. not one pass play on 1st down

Bo Nix is on pace for 17 scrambles this season. His ankle is clearly effecting him

Theo i love the vids but bro... Sutton has to reach his arms towards a defender running straight at him, that was not a "perfect placed ball" in anyway man what are we talking about rn

Court :
Feels like they aren’t really comfortable with nix throwing the ball unless it’s absolutely necessary and that’s what leads to these aggressive/dangerous throws. If it was only against this Seattle defense I could excuse it, but this consistently happens. I guess my question is it the play calling + not having trust in him or is he just bad?

The thing is your trying to hard to explain it . Is it a hospital ball ? Yes . Is he gonna get lit up? possibly . Does he still have to make that catch for his qb ? 100%.

That second route isn’t a post route it’s a corner route, which would have been open. Hell, it was open when you watch the end of the play…
