February 13, 2026, I had emergency spine surgery after melanoma spread to my spine and compressed my spinal cord, leaving me paralyzed from the chest down. I was later diagnosed with Stage IV melanoma, with involvement in my spine, lung, and liver. About 8 months later, my scans showed no evidence of disease, and I was walking again. Are you Braf +?

Was stage 4 head,face neck and lymph’s… they got that with chemo and radiation and metastasized to my lungs as well … keep your head up ❤️I am in immunotherapy now and most of my tumors are gone and the others are reacting to therapy greatly! … praying for you !🥰

Amanda, first of all you are so beautiful, second my son’s cancer also returned, he is 41. I can hear the same overwhelmed fear in your voice as my son when he was told this awful news. But he has persevered and would tell you just keep moving forward. Just try to stay calm and stay positive. Be your own advocate. Find a melanoma patient portal, they are the people who truly understand what you are going through and can lead you to the best doctors and hospitals. Stay strong, be fierce! So many will be following you now and holding you up…. You can do it🩷
