Once my cousin told me something she did. And I promise to not tell someone. But like one week later, I realized that this was insane and I couldn’t handle it so I talk with my sister about it. And my sister shared this information with the whole family. -.- it also depends what you did so it’s not just about trust it’s also if the person you are telling what you did can handle the information.

I talked about things my ex husband told me in confidence after realizing all these things were lies designed to make me feel like he was so sensitive and being vulnerable with me. They were all lies. He also had multiple affairs where he did the same thing. He married one of his affair partners, and we discovered this together. I don't know how he thought his secrets would be kept when he was having me coparent with her while he ignored his own kids most of the time.
