@corrections_unlocked: I asked a few of the guys this at our first Men’s Standard meeting. What stood out was how much it meant to have a brother there when they needed one. Somebody who let them talk and actually listened. As men, we can be stubborn. We’ll tell everybody we’re good while carrying things we’ve never said out loud. Sometimes we want to talk. We just don’t know who we can open up to. That’s why I started The Men’s Standard. A place for first responders to be real with each other and know somebody has their back.
