Christian McCaffrey Jokes His “Sleep’s Great” After Olivia Culpo Gave Birth To Baby No. 2 Christian McCaffrey has a funny update on life with a newborn. The San Francisco 49ers star, 30, spoke to reporters in the locker room after an NBC Bay Area reporter asked about his sleep. “Sleep’s great!” he said. “My family’s down in L.A. right now while my wife’s recovering.” Then he added with a laugh, “Don’t tell her this, I’m sleeping fantastic.” His wife, Olivia Culpo, 34, welcomed their second child, son Roman Augustus McCaffrey. The couple announced his birth in a joint Instagram post on Saturday, Oct. 10. They also have a 14-month-old daughter, Colette. McCaffrey said Culpo is “coming back up soon” to the San Francisco area. He did not say whether she will be at the 49ers’ next game on Monday against the Washington Commanders. Culpo shared photos from the hospital, with McCaffrey by her side. In an Instagram Story, she wrote, “Heart is exploding.” They announced the pregnancy in May, on her 34th birthday. “Best birthday gift,” she wrote at the time.
