@channelnewsasia: A fire at a substation in Kangkar Tebrau caused a major power outage that plunged parts of Johor Bahru into darkness on Friday (Oct 16). Two workers were critically injured by electric shocks and taken to hospital, the Johor fire department said. Videos circulating online showed blackouts at malls and housing estates. Members of the public were also seen directing traffic after the outage disrupted traffic lights. The incident reportedly lasted from about 6pm to 7.45pm. #malaysia #malaysianews
