This post actually inspired me to write a whole commentary on this quote. Thank you for posting! I will give you the link when I am done; I think you will like it. But in the meantime, I want to say I really relate to the way the speaker feels in this quote; I almost feel like I could have written it, but I also think it establishes a false dichotomy between one's life as an individual and one's life as a revolutionary.
