Don’t take advice. It’s your journey and it will never be like someone else’s. Deal with it how you feel you need to.

Do what feels right to you, everyone has something to say about how you should be, but you are the only one with your loss, do what works for you, even if the world disagrees

BREATHE !! SLEEP, CRY, BUT BE PRESENT. NOONE KNOWS YOUR HEART.
FORGIVE YOURSELF, AND FORGIVE OTHERS.

Please do not let your feelings be hurt that some of your close friends stop reaching out after the funeral. Some people can’t deal, I guess. My husband passed in 2022 and I have lifelong childhood friends I’ve not seen or talked to in over three years. It is hurtful but I can only call them so many times with zero response. Self care is more important. Pay attention to those who are truly there for you. 🌺 Aloha

Let yourself feel the grief. Cry, scream, shout, laugh; you need to feel it all. It’s so easy for the grief to consume you, so sit with it.

Stay calm more than ever before. You don’t have to make a decision quickly, don’t allow anyone to rush you. Say, I’ll consider it. And do that..
