@wtopnews: The D.C. government isn't expecting the region to be buried again under a layer of rock-hard “snowcrete” this winter. But preparations are underway, just in case. Learn more on our website or on the WTOP app. Link in bio. (🎥: WTOP/Alan Etter)
I got married that week. Most of my time was spent with my husband digging out our car because the street plows literally piled up the snow up to our car door handles and it was completely frozen. It took multiple people and us paying someone 150 out of desperation to get our car out because we had a lot of last minute errands. The plows should not be allowed to bury cars to the point people cannot access them or they get damaged

Snowcrete. I was driving a friend to Dulles to catch an international flight that evening. I turned right around a snow pile that i thought was ….snow. Mais non! C’était snowcrete! $1500 worth of damage to my passenger door. We made it to the airport on time and I didn’t see the damage until I got out an looked at it. UGH
